About
the Executive Director
Ms. Robin Angelica
Pitts (Executive Director) is a native Washingtonian. She was educated in the Archdiocese Council system of Prince
Georges County, Maryland. She
completed her college education at Howard University. In 1992, the Lord Jesus Christ placed a vision in her heart to
become an entrepreneur. Stepping
out on Faith in 1993, Ms. Pitts opened her first dance studio “Pizzazz
Studio of Dance (PSD)”. In 2000, the Lord once again placed in her
spirit that the youth needed more. With this in mind, the vision of
DanceMakers, Inc., which is a non-profit 501c3 organization, was created.
During
the course of her years Ms. Pitts is a member of Dance Educators of
America and the International Association of Blacks in Dance. She has served as a dance instructor for 17 years and has
instructed students ranging from 3 yrs. to adult in all areas of dance. Ms. Pitts has led her students to “Winning” national, regional
and local dance competitions. She

Jones Show”, Civil War Memorial featuring Dionne Warwick, BET Tribute to
Urban Youth Choir featuring Clifton Davis, and was the Executive Producer
of the 2000 production of the “Chocolate Nutcracker” featuring Chante
Moore. Ms. Pitts and her
staff of certified instructors are committed to quality dance education
and professionalism. It is
our goal that students enjoy dance while learning proper technique and
discipline. Other benefits
include physical conditioning and rhythm. She has casted for Dr. Dre – “Phone Tap” and Wu Tang Clan –
“Cross My Heart” music videos.
Ms.
